Jeff Tanaka, MD, FAAP - Retired

Dear patients, parents, colleagues, and friends,

After 39 years in pediatrics and with careful thought and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to retire effective April 1, 2025.

I have had the great pleasure to watch many of you grow over the years from birth to full adults. I have sat with families in sickness and in health, joy and sorrow, all the while realizing how lucky I was to hopefully be helpful in some small way. 

During this journey I've had the privilege to witness the people skills of Dr Foor, the deep compassion of Dr Willey, the extensive medical knowledge of Dr Nechyba, the constant caring of Dr Emmet and the youthful enthusiasm of Dr Hernandez. Each taught me how to be a better person and what a great physician could be. 

It has been both an honor and a privilege to have served you over these years. I thank you for allowing me to be a part of your family.
