We will be launching our patient portal in the very near future. Through this portal, you will be able to access relevant clinical visit summaries and health information for your children. You will be able to access the patient portal through a link at the bottom left of the homepage of our website. We are still working out the final glitches of the portal, so it may not work smoothly for you for the next couple of weeks, but it should work well after this. Please give us a call if you are having any difficulties with the portal after the new year. Due to the fact that we transitioned from paper to electronic medical records only a year ago, please do not rely on the portal for accurate information on your child's immunization history. Vaccines from prior to December 2012 are recorded in a different system. Please contact us by phone if you need a complete immunization record for your child.
It's not too late to get your flu vaccine! We are seeing our first cases of influenza this week. If your child hasn't received his/her flu vaccine, please consider scheduling an appointment or coming to our Saturday flu clinic tomorrow 12/14 from 9-12. We have both injections and nasal mist available. Keep your child healthy for the holidays! Dr. Nechyba
We would like to welcome you to the new website for Carolina Kids! Our site is currently under construction, but you can view it at www.carolinakidspediatrics.net. When we go live, hopefully by next week, it will replace our old website at www.carolinakidspediatrics.com. From this site you will be able to access a broad range of pediatric information, including a "Symptom Checker" feature, information on a broad range of well child and illness & injury related topics through links to www.healthychildren.org and the American Academy of Pediatrics educational library. You will also have access to sign up for prenatal classes, information about our practice and our providers, and health related information about travel, product recalls, car seats, immunizations and a whole lot more. Please let us know if you have any questions. Happy Holidays! Dr. Nechyba
